Diane Morris Steps Down from DCCS BOD Presidency
Following two years of incalculable hours donating her time to the development of Dynamic Community Charter School, Diane Morris has stepped down from her presidential position on the board of directors.
As you may be aware, Diane conceptualized DCCS after being disappointed in the educational options for her sons. Soon, she quit her job to focus her passion, time, and energy on building the school full time.
With the ushering in of the DCCS students on Monday, August 25, Diane saw the fruition of her tireless work. With the school in the very capable hands of the new board president, Laura Kay Berry, Diane will be returning to work. While she has retired from focusing on DCCS full-time, Diane will continue to work with the board of directors and parent committees to make DCCS the best it can be.
Diane, the DCCS families, the board of directors, and our many community supporters thank you from the bottom of our hearts for creating a safe and challenging academic environment for our exceptional students. We wish you all the best in your next great adventure.
